How it works

What happens next

Start a free 14-day shadow deployment of GaaS governance for your AI agents. Real actions, real verdicts, zero enforcement. No credit card required.

  1. Sign up for Shadow Mode

    Provide your email, organization name, and a description of what your AI agents do. Submit the form at gaas.is/start to receive your API key and Membrane ID.

  2. Integrate the SDK

    Install the GaaS SDK for your language (pip install gaas-sdk for Python 3.11+, or npm install @governancehq/sdk). Initialize the client with your API key in the X-API-Key header.

  3. Submit intents in shadow mode

    Add ?mode=shadow to your intent submission calls. The governance pipeline runs — validation, context, policies and audit — but no actions are blocked. Deliberation is skipped in shadow mode.

  4. Optional: connect your own systems

    Give GaaS one HTTPS address of your own, and it asks your systems for the facts its policies check before it decides. With the admin API key you just received, call PUT /v1/context-endpoint, or use Settings → Connected systems in the dashboard. Try it in shadow mode first. Guide

  5. Review shadow stats

    Review governance findings in your shadow dashboard. See what actions would have been blocked, modified, or escalated.

  6. Activate enforcement

    When you're confident in the governance configuration, activate enforcement: POST /v1/membranes/{membrane_id}/activate, then submit intents without ?mode=shadow.
